More hiking of the beautiful Sydenham region near Owen Sound! Make sure to book your accommodations!
Here is the current plan for the weekend:
Saturday August 15th, 2015, 8:30AM: Bruce Trail Map 30 & 31
Meet at Clearview Crescent, off Hwy 26, East of Bothwell's corner (75.8 km mark).

Drop finish cars here, shuttle back to the road parking around the 56.0 km mark at St. Vincent-Sydenham Town Line and Sideroad 24 (where we finished the last hike: 44.624653, -80.730673). There is a lot of road through this section, so even though it is a longer day (20 km), it is technically much easier than what we did last time, and should generally make for faster hiking.
There are still some good sights along the way, so we can look forward to a full day.
Sunday, August 16th 2015, 8:30 AM: Bruce Trail Map 30
Meet at parking on St. Vincent-Sydenham Town Line, S of Sideroad 24 (44.624653, -80.730673). No shuttle required--this is start and finish. This is the River Kwai/Bayview Escarpment re-route loop and is approximately 13 km. This is likely to be a more technical route (slower) but should afford some good views, and generally looks like a very interesting section.
Saturday Night Dinner?
We had a lovely dinner on the Saturday night hike last time. I know some people are staying at cottages with friends, but post back here if you are interested in connecting for dinner on Saturday night. We can investigate some options--I enjoyed our last one, but am also open to a new location (i.e. somewhere in Owen Sound).
