Dundas Valley Hike
Our final hike of 2015 takes us from the foot of the Chedoke Golf Club stairs, out of Hamilton and through the Dundas Valley Conservation Area, finishing at Woodley Rd., at an estimated distance of 16.7 km.
Map 8 (Ed. 28.0)
Chedoke Golf Club Stairs @ 38.5
Woodley Lane @55.2
The Plan:
We will meet at Woodley Lane parking at 8:45 AM (Marker I_044, roadside parking can handle 10 vehicles, free, Lat: 43.271857459331756 Lon:-79.9760257465189

We will then shuttle back to the start-point at the Chedoke Golf Club parking area. (43.24620528353219,-79.90693453848023) http://bit.ly/1QUgsKA
Recommendations:
1. For those interested, the Tiffany Falls side trail (45.0 km mark on the map) would add about an extra 1 km, but takes you in to a lovely set of falls. Very easy section.
2. Sherman Falls is at the 46.4 km mark, which is very close to half-way, and would be a good spot for a lunch break
3. No wineries along this route, but we will have an opportunity to stop at the Dundas Valley Trail Centre for hot chocolate and a treat with around 5k to go.
Pot Luck:
All are welcome to come back to our place (Our location)afterward for another pot-luck dinner. We'll set up a crock pot of pulled pork, have some dogs and burgers (incl. veggie burgers) for the bbq and make a basic salad. Post up if you're joining us and what you're bringing to help us with numbers and food decisions. Also, as requested, bring any musical instruments you like and we'll have a bit of a kitchen party
