We'll meet at 8:45 at Jackson's Cove Rd parking (P_21 on the Bruce Trail App, GPS: 44.93953641447378, -81.13331855859819  )  -Google Map- and shuttle back to the start.

We'll shuttle back to the start point at Cape Croker Park with a minimum of cars--the start parking is a (paid) private park.

The approximate distance for this hike is 18.7km (~6h15min based on our typical pace).

Several of us are staying at Hope Bay very close to the trail, which is approximately half way along our route--ideal for a drop-out or start location for those who won't be hiking the whole distance.

Note the updated hike dates for the August 2017 weekend have shifted to the weekend of August 26-27.

Gossette and I are booked at The Spirit Rock Outpost & Lodge., Wiarton, for this weekend.

A bunch of folks are staying at the Cedarholme B&B and Cottages (108 Beech St, Hope Bay, 519-534-3705), or in the Hope Bay Campground nearby.

This was a beautiful, but technical hike--particularly the first half of the day. Lots of tricky footing, rocks, ladders and climbs. The afternoon afforded beautiful views across the bay.
