2018-04-21 Centre Rd to Sideroad 6&7 Nottawasaga (End of Dufferin, Start of Blue Mountain Club!)

Our first hike of the year completes the Dufferin club section, and begins the Blue Mountain club!  This hike is approx. 19 km.

Meet on Sideroad 6&7 Nottawasaga, between Concession 10 and Concession 11 (West of Dunedin, ON) at 8:45 AM  (There is a style to cross the fence on the North side of the road)
(GPS: 44.2912278,-80.2114908) -- Note: This is UNOFFICIAL parking.  It looks like there is lots of room to pull over, but we will have to assess on location.  We have a fallback position that we can deal with once we have met up.

Also, remember that we are now significantly farther North than at the start of prior seasons. In April, there can still be snow and ice on these trails--be certain to dress accordingly!

We're going ahead with the plan for Saturday, as the weather looks good--sunny, with a high of 9C. The trails will likely still have ice, and if not, they will be muddy as the temperature goes up. Make sure to bring some plastic bags for your dirty shoes etc. and a change of clothes for after!

I notice I didn't include the Bruce Trail Guide map numbers. Our meetup location is at the very top of map 21, marked 9.1km, and we will be shuttling back to the start (still on Map 21) on Centre Rd., marked ~47.4 (Parking D_022 in the app).

Aggie and Don will be meeting us at the parking near Lavender ~noon, so we'll aim to make that our lunch spot. (Parking D_015 in the Bruce Trail App)
